Hey everyone! We’re Logan and Audri, high school sweethearts who turned our love for travel into a full-time adventure. Back in high school, we’d take day trips around Florida, exploring anywhere we could. Those small adventures only made our desire to see the world stronger, but we knew it wouldn’t happen overnight.

So, we did what any determined (and slightly travel-obsessed) couple would do... we got jobs, worked full-time, saved every dollar, and spent years waiting for the day we could finally take the leap. Eventually, that day came. We quit our jobs, packed our bags, and set out to chase our dream of traveling the world together.

Now, we’re on a mission to visit every country, continent, and US state. We're just getting started and we can't wait to bring you along!

📍Bentonite Hills (0.2 miles): Isn’t it crazy you only have to walk a short distance to see such an otherworldly place😮🤯 These hills are located in Hanksville, Utah (keep in mind you do NEED a 4x4 to get here!🚘)

📍The Great Chamber (0.25 miles): This is another spot you do NEED a 4x4 for!!🚘 It’s located in Kanab, Utah and is a must-visit if you’re in the area😍

📍Potash Road (no hiking): As you can tell by the name, this is a road, so you can drive straight to it! This is located in Moab, Utah and we’d recommend getting out here because it’s one of the most unique roads we’ve ever seen🤩

📍Moonscape Overlook (no hiking): This is another spot you can drive straight to (but you do NEED a 4x4, the beginning of the drive isn’t too bad but it gets worse towards the end!🚘) It’s located in Hanksville, Utah and it looks like you’re literally on the moon here🌙😮

📍Belly of the Dragon (no hiking): You can also drive straight to this location in Mount Carmel Junction, Utah (you should have a 4x4!🚘) It is a short drive on a very well maintained dirt road, but if it has rained you will most likely get stuck!

📍Oxford Exchange in Tampa, Florida

The Oxford Exchange is more than just a bookstore… it has a restaurant, coffee shop, champagne bar, home goods, and so much more😍🥂

If you want to come and see The Oxford Exchange for yourself, we recommend coming during the middle of the week when it’s not too crowded👥

We came here because of social media and expected a full bookstore, but it doesn’t really have a large selection! With that being said, it’s still worth a visit because of how beautiful it is and all of the other things you can do here☕️🥞

🗺️ You will NEED exact coordinates to get here!! This is also home to the Mars Desert Research Station because it’s one of the only places on Earth that closely resembles Mars😮 With that being said, there are some areas you cannot go into and it might even look like you’re entering an unauthorized area when you’re actually in the right place, which is why it’s so important to follow the exact coordinates!

🚘 You NEED a 4x4 to get here, please do not try coming here without one especially if it’s been raining because you could easily get stuck! We did see a mini van driving through here and we honestly aren’t sure how they made it out but please don’t be like them😅

Be sure your maps are reliable when you have no service because there’s little to phone service here! We recommend adding ‘stops’ so you can get your directions to Bentonite Hills and then to your next destination! (Google Maps worked for us)🤳🏼

This is very close to Capitol Reef National Park, so stop by there if you have the time (it’s SO worth it!!)😍🤩

📍Zion-Mount Carmel Highway in Zion National Park

Zion National Park is often rated as one of the most beautiful national parks in the US and for good reason!😍

When you come to Zion make sure to drive through the entire park because it’s all amazing!!🤩 You will most likely enter through the town Springdale, Utah since it’s coming from more populated areas, but if you’re going to Zion during peak season expect long lines!

🏨Where to Stay:

📍Springdale, Utah (most expensive)
📍Hurricane, Utah (more budget friendly)
📍Zion National Park (Zion Lodge or one of the campgrounds)

Don’t miss out on Mount Carmel Tunnel! This is also on the Zion-Carmel Highway and it gives you a grand entrance to the amazing landscapes in the park (the exit of the tunnel is what we showed in the video!)⛰️

☀️Best Time of Year: You can honestly do this at any time of year, it just depends on what you’re looking for. We recommend winter if you’re looking for minimal crowds at National Parks and other stops❄️ If you’re looking for warmer weather and not having to worry about some snow possibly being on the roads, go during summer, just know it can get VERY busy!!

⛽️ Gas Station Availability: We had no issue finding gas stations in California! We would still recommend always filling up before you leave in the morning though.

🚗 Recommended Roadtrip Time: You should plan on spending at least 10-14 days roadtripping California! There’s so much to see and you won’t want to feel rushed. You could obviously spend even longer doing this roadtrip but that’s the least amount of time we’d recommend. We did this in 8 days, but driving 3,000+ miles in that amount of time isn’t ideal for most people😅

🚘 You NEED a 4x4!! We were driving a Ram 2500 Heavy Duty and it was a very bumpy ride🤣 (Although we did see two mini vans and we honestly aren’t sure how they made it😅)

🐎 Horseshoe Bend: This is one of Arizona’s most beautiful roadtrip stops, when you walk up to it, it literally looks like an optical illusion
📍Page, Arizona

🌈 Bentonite Hills: This is the one of the only places on Earth that closely resembles Mars and so much so that it’s home to the Mars Desert Research Station! We think this is such a unique spot that you can’t find anywhere else🤯

Ever since 2019, this has been the ONLY guitar shaped hotel in the world!!😮🎸 But soon there will be another on the Las Vegas strip (so if you can’t make it to Florida, head over to Nevada in 2027 so you can see it for yourself!)

Every night the hotel has a light show on the guitar and it’s insane! The beams that are supposed to be guitar strings go 20,000ft in the sky!🤯

🗺️How to Find the Cave:
Park in the dirt lot on the right side of the Shell gas station, you will see a metal fence with an opening, once you go through the fence you will see the cave about 100 yards back!

There are SO many beautiful places in Arizona just like this one that are free! There’s so much to explore around Arizona, even spots like this that are off the side of the road and in the places you’d least expect😮

📍Crystal River, Florida

Crystal River (Three Sisters Spring) is one of the best places in the US to see and swim with manatees in the wild! Thousands come here every year during manatee season😮

🗓️ Manatee Season: November 15th- March 31st (so… start planning your trip to Florida NOW!)

Florida has a ton of laws protecting manatees, so it’s important to learn them! No matter how much you want to touch them, it’s against the law… it’s very important to respect the manatees and keep them protected🫶🏽

There are a ton of kayak/paddleboard rentals companies as well as boat tours🛶 Do your research on the rental companies and make sure they launch the kayaks for you (most do, but just double check with them!)

We prefer the rentals just because we get to explore at our own pace, but guided tours are great if you want to learn more about manatees and have an educational experience😃🥔

If you want to come to Florida, make sure you plan on coming during manatee season so you can make the most of your trip!😍🛶

📍Zion-Mount Carmel Hwy: Another one of the greatest grand tunnel entrances to a national park is located in Zion National Park! Make sure to drive through at golden hour (it makes it even more amazing)🌄🤩

📍Generals Highway: We never see anyone talk about this drive in Sequoia National Park, but it’s one of our favorites! You get to drive through the Sierra Nevada foothills and up into the clouds to get to the Sequoia trees🌲

📍Pacific Coast Highway: This is one of the most famous roadtrips in the US and for good reason! You’re literally driving on cliffs over the ocean in California🤯 We’d recommend taking this road trip in Spring or Summer🌷☀️

📍Airport Road: This drive gives you an overview of how beautiful Sedona, Arizona is! We’ve never seen mountains like this before😍 It’s hard to choose which one is ‘best’ in Sedona though because they’re all so AMAZING!!

Although this meteor crater is in no specific town since it’s in the middle of the desert, it’s only 37 miles east of Flagstaff!🚘

📍Barringer Crater in Arizona

Barringer Crater is also known as ‘Meteor Crater’ (this is what we entered into our GPS to get here!)🗺️ It even has its own highway exit called ‘Meteor Crater Road’ so it’s very easy to find!

This crater is MASSIVE… it has a depth of 570ft and diameter of 0.8 miles (it hit Earth at a speed of 26,000mph!)😮 Although it doesn’t compare to some of the other giants that have impacted Earth, it’s still incredible to see in person!! It’s also the most well preserved meteor crater on Earth🌎

🚘 You DO NOT need a 4x4 or high clearance vehicle to get here, the road leading here is fully paved!

💰The entrance fee is $29 per adult!

Barringer Crater is actually NOT owned by the government, but instead it’s owned by the Barringer family which we thought was very interesting!

📍Rosemary Beach, Florida

Save this mini guide to Rosemary Beach👇🏽

This is one of prettiest beach towns in the US and it’s located right in the Florida panhandle! Rosemary Beach was actually modeled after the European colonial styles of the Dutch West Indies, which is why a lot of people say it looks a lot like Europe!😍

If you’re wanting to visit the beach here, you have to be a vacation renter or owner (there are security guards at the gates checking!) BUT if you drive about 20 minutes away you will find tons of free beach access’ and it’s just as beautiful! (We recommend going to another small town called Seaside!)🐚🌊

Monument Valley is located on the Utah/Arizona border and it’s one of the most famous stops on a southwest roadtrip🚘🌵

To get to this specific spot make sure to go to Forest Gump Point (it comes up when you put it into your GPS!!🗺️)

🚘 17 Mile Scenic Drive (You NEED a 4x4 or high clearance for this!)

We actually did all of our excursions in St. Ann’s Parish which has a Level 4 Travel Advisory, BUT we felt safe the entire time! We interacted with locals and got to explore the beautiful country of Jamaica🇯🇲

Although we wouldn’t tell you to go out and explore on your own (especially if it’s your first time there), there are still so many ways to see Jamaica safely!!

🏜️Stop 1: Start your trip off in Page, Arizona! You should spend at least 2 days here and explore places like Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and maybe even get a permit for The Wave which is nearby.

🥾Stop 2: Visit one of the America’s most visited national parks, the Grand Canyon! You can easily spend a few days just exploring it because it’s SO big😮 Make sure to do some hikes and try to get a permit to visit Havasupai Falls (at the bottom of the Grand Canyon)

🏔️ Stop 3: Visit one of America’s snowiest cities… Flagstaff! You will want to go during spring or summer if you don’t like snow, but it’s still a very cute town🤩 You can also drive along the famous Route 66 here!!

🏜️ Stop 4: If you love hiking or just want to see one of the most beautiful desert towns, Sedona is one of the best places to go😍 We’d recommend spending at least 3 days here!

🌵Stop 5: Some of the largest cacti in the world are right here in Arizona at Saguaro National Park… they can grow up to 40 feet tall😮 This is one of the smaller national parks, so plan on spending 1 day here and exploring Tucson (which is where Saguaro is located!)

We would recommend this being a 10 day roadtrip, BUT you can at minimum make this 5 days… it would just be very very rushed and you wouldn’t have time to enjoy all of the places you’re visiting!⏰

🌆 Miami, Florida: Miami is SO much more than partying! It’s home to some of the best interactive art mueseums and just a short drive away from some amazing national parks and beaches! It’s definitely a spot you need to go at least once…

🌈 Bentonite Hills: This is the one of the only places on Earth that closely resembles Mars and so much so that it’s home to the Mars Desert Research Station! We think this is such a unique spot that you can’t find anywhere else🤯

🌲Sequoia National Park: This is another beautiful national park that can’t be missed🥹 The drive up to the Sequoia trees was our favorite part! If you’re looking for a hike the Congress Trail was amazing!!

🌵Saguaro National Park: We honestly would NOT make an entire trip out of this park because it’s so small, BUT you need to see it for yourself because the cacti here get up to 40 feet tall!😮

📍Crystal River, Florida

Crystal River (Three Sisters Spring) is one of the best places in the US to see and swim with manatees in the wild! Thousands come here every year during manatee season😮

🗓️ Manatee Season: November 15th- March 31st

Florida has a lot of laws protecting manatees, so it’s important to learn them! No matter how much you want to touch them, it’s against the law… it’s very important to respect the manatees and keep them protected🫶🏽

There are a ton of kayak/paddleboard rentals companies as well as boat tours🛶 Do your research on the rental companies and make sure they launch the kayaks for you (most do, but just double check with them!)

We prefer the rentals just because we get to explore at our own pace, but guided tours are great if you want to learn more about manatees and have an educational experience😃🥔

If you want to come to Florida, make sure you plan on coming during manatee season so you can make the most of your trip!😍🛶

🌙 Moonscape Overlook (Clip 2): This place is CRAZY!!🤯 We saw a lot of people setting up camp here for the night (but keep in mind you will also need a 4x4 or high clearance vehicle to get here!) Please make sure you are VERY careful here if you’re getting close to the edge because some rocks are thin and will break if you step on them. Also be aware of the wind because gusts can be pretty strong up here, and you won’t want to be standing on a ledge when that happens! Here are the coordinates👇🏽

👽 Factory Butte (Clip 3): It’s crazy how otherworldly this looks in person😱 In our opinion you don’t need a 4x4 to get here (if it has rained in the past few days you will NEED a 4x4 or else you will get stuck pretty fast!) You will actually pass by Factory Butte on your way to Moonscape Overlook, but we will put the coordinates here for you👇🏽

📍 Potash Road in Moab, Utah

Potash Road is located right next to the Colorado river, there are a lot of pull off spots along the road so you can admire these huge rocks and the river. This is also a great spot for climbing and hiking!🥾 Nearby are petroglyphs, which are worth finding if you’re nearby!!

Moab, Utah is a great place to visit if you love nature and adventure🌿

The best time to visit Moab is during Summer and Fall where you can do activities like white water rafting and mountain biking🚵‍♀️

We visited during the winter, which was perfect for us because it’s currently the off season so it felt like we had all of the nearby National and State Parks to ourselves!

Our favorite things to do nearby:

📍Point Lobos State Natural Reserve in Monterey County, California

Save the Trail Details👇🏽

Cypress Grove Trail takes you through cypress trees and gives you cliffside views of the ocean🤩 It’s a very easy loop with only 65ft of elevation gain and is only 0.9 miles long!!

You should spend at least a few hours in the reserve because there’s SO many beautiful trails😍

Parking is very limited, so if you don’t want to park on the side of the main road, make sure to arrive early especially during summer months!☀️

💰To enter the reserve it‘s 10 per vehicle!

🚘 Point Lobos is also a great stop if your doing a Pacific Coast Highway Roadtrip

Save the Mighty 5 Itinerary🚘👇🏽

✈️Day 1: Fly into Las Vegas and make the 2.5 hour drive to Zion National Park. You can spend the rest of the day taking a scenic drive around the park or stopping at some viewpoints, if you’re up for more of an adventure… do a sunset hike🥾

⛰️Day 2: Spend a full day exploring more of Zion National Park and do one of the more popular hikes (the narrows or angels landing!) Make sure you check which hikes require permits📝

🏜️Day 3: Wake up early and drive 2 hours to Bryce Canyon. Hike the Navajo Loop and Queen’s Garden Trail and check out viewpoints like Inspiration Point and for sunset make sure to stop by Sunset Point🌄

🏞️ Day 4: It’s another early morning and you’re going to be driving another 2 hours to Capitol Reef (one of Utah’s most underrated national parks!!) If you’re up for a scenic drive make sure to take Scenic Byway 12, it only adds about 30 minutes to your trip, BUT it’s so worth it!

☀️Day 6: Drive 2 hours to Moab, Utah where you’ll be spending the next two days… starting with Arches National Park! Make sure to hike Delicate Arch if you’re a hiker (it was our favorite!)🥾

🪨 Day 7: You won’t be doing much driving today, since Canyonlands National Park is also in Moab! It’s Utah’s largest national park (it’s so big it has 4 districts!!😮) You will want to start off in Island of the Sky District and if you’re a more experienced backcountry hiker, make sure to check out the Needles and the Maze districts!

We would recommend making your trip at least 10 days so you can take your time, but if you only have one week it’s definitely possible… you may just feel rushed!⌛️
